Sr. Project Associate (Racing)

Jack Morton is seeking a passionate and energetic Sr. Project Associate to support our luxury automotive account on various events, with a focus on racing. This person will independently manage small programs or parts of larger programs ensuring that client needs are met and exceeded.
- Assume accountability for defined client deliverables, ensuring client needs are met and exceeded
- Build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring that all client needs are heard, understood and addressed in a timely way
- Provide clear communications to the client regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget, and schedules for assigned programs
- Update status reports and schedules and maintain lists of action items, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Assist in identifying new opportunities, evaluating opportunities, negotiating the best deal for our client, executing the events, and ensuring that a results summary is complete
- Provide seamless onsite execution
- Ensure project/program is delivered on-time, on-budget and flawlessly
- Schedule regular team meetings and manage communications between team members, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Assist in managing project budget
- Oversee coordination with all internal parties on invoices and vendor payments
- Assist in reconciling costs against budget
- Ensure that the highest possible quality is delivered
- Ensure that the client need is solved by the project deliverables
- Participate in creative brainstorms to generate ideas for clients

What we require:
- 3-4 years event/experiential marketing experience required
- Must be detail oriented and able to simultaneously manage projects
- Strong project management, organizational and communication skills
- Experience in planning events, negotiating and giving presentations strongly preferred, especially in the auto industry
- Willing to travel up to 30-40%
- Racing experience/interest a plus
- Demonstrated production competencies: client focus, accountability for results, team effectiveness, developing others, organizational sophistication, attention to detail, flexibility, and professional confidence
