Senior Account Director - Online Learning Platform

Detroit, Michigan, United States


Work closely with senior-level clients as an integral part of the Account Management team in support of the client online learning platform.  Individual will partner with client to craft strategy and direction of platform and lead internal resources in execution of deliverables.  Detailed as follows:


Client Management

  • Direct strategy development and tactical rollout for assigned work
  • Develop new ideas and future possibilities for clients
  • Understand clients’ business issues and serve as a trusted advisor to drive effective solutions
  • Build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring that all clients’ needs are listened to, understood and responded to in a timely way
  • Ensure clear communication to the client regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget, schedules and project status/action items


Deliverable Management

  • Knowledge of and ability to facilitate creative, account & production elements as it supports client strategies, objectives, tactics & program specs
  • Oversee JMW ideation, collaboration, coordination, production and execution of launch go-to-market initiatives for both internal and external audiences.
  • Develop, manage and coordinate key project meetings with client internal stakeholders and partner agencies
  • Ability to work and direct JMW disciplines as needed – to develop & execute client deliverables


Team Management

  • Coach and oversee junior team members on execution of all individual job details
  • Develop talent of junior team by providing challenging assignments and ongoing constructive feedback


Budget Management

  • Manage budget communication to the client

  • 10 plus years of marketing/client services experience
  • Must have experience and knowledge training methods and online learning platforms
  • Must have previously demonstrated the ability to build and maintain key relationships, alliances and partnerships with a variety of participants and facilitate a variety of communications and projects on behalf of the stakeholders involved
  • Strong project management, organizational and communication skills
  • At least 2 years of strong staff and project supervisory experience a must
  • Experience with automotive industry a plus.
  • Ability to travel required.
  • Must enjoy working with diverse teams
