In praise of honesty: McDonald’s scores social media success

Great article in Ad Age about the impact of McDonald’s social media efforts originating in Canada, which seem to have one important quality in common: transparency.

Transparency is great — like the video that shows how they make their hamburgers look so great in pictures — and a critical quality in social media. 

Hmm… Canadian marketers more honest?
