“In addition to being fiscally savvy, Americans are also challenging the stereotype of the voracious consumer who values material goods above all else. In fact, more than two-thirds (72%) of respondents would rather spend money on experiences than things.
While there is no doubt that people will continue to devote time and disposable income to shopping, pursuing personal passions has become more central to feeling fulfilled.”
