I read an interesting article this morning about Ford’s plans for the launch of the 2013 Ford Escape (see below). To me, this is the perfect way to create an “owned media” experience on a national scale. However, the real value will be how the bring the concept to life on a local level by activating dealerships, sales reps, brand passionates, etc. Either way, I’m not a Ford customer and it caught my attention!
