What we do isn’t easy. Nothing extraordinary ever is.

At Jack Morton we create head-turning, stomach-dropping, mind-boggling, smile-inducing brand experiences. We exist to reimagine what experience can be, and we do that by pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

We take care of each other, as much as we take care of business. We forget titles, check egos at the door, roll up our sleeves and make extraordinary happen.

This is a place where you can be you, all of you, and bring your true and honest self to work, every day in every way.

What we create is unique, just like those who work here and together we are united behind a powerful vision – we inspire the world to experience better. To show, not tell how things should be. More innovative. More inclusive. More sustainable.

So if you feel work, and the people you work with, can be extraordinary, let’s chat.

We believe in Extraordinary.

If you have a keen interest in how consumers think and like having the data to back it up, this internship is for you! In some projects, the Strategy/Analytics intern supports the needs of the Strategy team by digging up incredible fact-based insights about a client’s brand, its customers and business challenges. In other projects, the Strategy/Analytics intern works on behalf of the Analytics team to not only analyze data, but also clearly tell the story behind the numbers. A true super sleuth, the Strategy/Analytics intern will be called upon to help find solutions to problems, back up big ideas with smart insights, and put their curiosity to work on behalf of our clients.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop fresh insights after conducting analysis and research to understand client brands, audiences, and business environments.
  • Create custom scorecards and dashboards based on client goals to measure program performance, as well as create and present well-organized presentations and reports.
  • Distill insights from data, synthesizing key findings into a clear, compelling story.
  • Interact and collaborate with multiple internal teams while supporting active Analytics and Strategy projects.
  • Serve as an Analytics SME, willing and able to educate others along the way to foster analytics mindset and data-driven decision making.
  • Immerse yourself in the latest trends and developments in Experiential Marketing and contribute to agency newsletters and think pieces.
  • Commit to 10 weeks of hard work, learning, and fun, day in, day out

If you can do all that, you have what it takes. It might help if…

  • College Degree or degree in progress.
  • Independent thinking, which you are not afraid to share with the team.
  • Excellent attention to detail in any project you complete.
  • Relentless problem-solving abilities and desire for continued improvement, including talent for conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations.
  • Keen curiosity in understanding consumers and the brands they love.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, with a keen sense to absorb new concepts quickly.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office programs, with a particular focus on Excel and PowerPoint

Who you are!

  • A rising college junior, senior, recent grad, or grad student.
  • Intrinsically inquisitive: you love to figure out how and why people make certain decisions.
  • Inherent passion for brands and how they attract their loyal customers.
  • Detail-oriented: you leave nothing to chance.
  • Creative problem solver: you’re able to change course at the drop of a hat.
  • Cool under pressure, prepared for every possible situation that might pop up, and able to multi-task.
  • A self-starter who is capable of learning on the job.
  • Optimistic & resilient – Exemplify a “Yes and why not?” posture. Take care of self and team. Balance needed to maintain stamina and positivity.
  • Ego-less – we all wear the hats that need wearing, it’s a mentality that makes the team successful.
  • Extraordinary! Demonstrating our Core Values of Passion, Agility, and Respect.

What you gain

We provide an intern experience as extraordinary as the work we deliver for our clients. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves (check out our blog and Instagram for more on that). You can expect to learn and grow from the best in the business, gain valuable agency experience, and meet and work alongside some incredible people during a summer you’ll never forget.
