To launch a bold new chapter in its partnership with McLaren Racing, Allwyn needed more than visibility on the Las Vegas Strip. The ambition was to turn a simple concept into a spectacle, bringing a scratch-card mechanic to life at full scale in a setting defined by speed, risk, and reward. In collaboration with Girl & Bear, who led the creative vision and build, the activation set out to translate a familiar game into something entirely unexpected.

At the Las Vegas Grand Prix, we delivered a world-first: a fully scratchable Formula 1 show car, unveiled in the heart of one of the busiest corridors in the world. In just seven weeks, the activation came together as a fully orchestrated experience, from securing a prime non-casino venue on the Strip to managing every element of production, AV, scenic, and operations. Brand hosts, MC support, and tightly coordinated roles ensured a seamless guest experience, while high-profile moments including the live reveal with McLaren driver Oscar Piastri required precise VIP security planning and execution.

Built for impact, the experience also had to be built for unpredictability. Severe weather threatened to disrupt the moment, but rapid contingency planning kept the activation intact, turning challenges into part of the story. What emerged was a launch that didn’t just stop traffic, it created it, delivering a high-energy fan moment that extended across both the physical environment and social channels.
