CES 2026 Sustainable Booth Design

Start at the end.

To position HERE as a leader in both technology and operational responsibility, we designed its CES exhibit to reflect the same efficiency-led thinking that sits at the heart of the brand.

Our strategy? If you design end-of-life first, every upstream choice gets simpler, lighter and cheaper. Start at the end.

A reusable aluminium exhibit system stored locally supports repeat use across editions. Lightweighting reduced material use and transport impact. Standardised panels reduced offcuts and returned to inventory. Rentals replaced one-time purchases where possible. Existing glass panels and brand elements were stored and reused. Printed fabric graphics were repurposed locally as furniture stuffing, while subfloor wood was rented for circular reuse. Local sourcing further reduced transport and handling.

The result was a premium exhibit designed to work harder over time, visually, operationally and environmentally.

Impact:

By leveraging different sustainability design techniques, the exhibit delivered a 20% estimated reduction in carbon footprint and 21% reduction in cost, proving that reducing impact and reducing cost per sqm go hand-in-hand when you re-think and re-build around end-of-life. This approach now forms HERE’s repeatable template for future activations—compounding environmental and economic returns over time.
