Connecting global fans at the 2024 Summer Game

Every four years, the Summer Games unite people from around the world through a shared passion for sport. To celebrate the moment, AliExpress aimed to create a memorable brand experience during the 2024 Paris Games, to connect with global audiences and boost brand engagement.

Inspired by the spirit of the Summer Games and its many athletic feats, we created #FindYourSport – a live experience and sponsorship activation that was a vibrant celebration of sport and unity. Visitors stepped into a playful, Instagram-worthy environment which engaged global sports fans through interactive, photo-driven experiences. Guests captured moments with creative props, shared them on social media using #FindYourSport, and received exclusive discounts for sports equipment.

The campaign boosted brand awareness and fostered community, by blending live, digital, and

social elements. It not only engaged audiences but also drove business results, increasing traffic to AliExpress’ platform and inspiring ongoing connection with the brand. This seamless integration of fun and function made a lasting impact and drove significant engagement.

Impact

The experience engaged 161 million sports fans from over 190 countries and drove significant social media buzz and increased digital traffic to AliExpress.
