The conceptual vision driving the ELEAGUE studio design was the automated arena of the future. This arena is an active, dynamic space where computer controlled automated elements move and operated as if in a game. A place where the excitement of live gaming comes to life in a state-of-the-art television studio environment.
We used the set design to further amplify the excitement of the contests with elements such as moving set pieces, LED video screens, color changing LED lighting and projected special effects. The studio arena was designed to provide camera placement to better capture the interaction between contestants, audience and hosts using the latest jib technology as well as flexible, moving playing spaces. The main anchor desk tracked and rotated into the space further. Using light to create a futuristic effect, we surrounded the players with 180 degrees of LED walls placed on a black glossy stage with illuminated columns that supported a ceiling outfitted with hanging video screens. The strategic use of light and space establishes ELEAGUE as the premiere destination for the future of gaming tournaments.
