Bigger, bolder, and brighter than ever before

For our sixth event working with CBS Sports, we pulled out all the stops for a broadcast set that was bigger, bolder, and brighter than ever before. For the famed end of season American football championship game, we transformed the iconic fountains at The Bellagio – recognized as the center of The Las Vegas Strip – into a world class broadcast set.

The design encompassed two main stages and one demo field, which became home to 18 TV shows and thousands of hours of live television during and leading up to the big game. We went all out in Vegas style with a massive, angled gold roof that tied the entire design together and created a bold statement along Las Vegas Blvd. From dazzling LED walls, to glittering mosaic floors and columns, to an epic 40-foot-wide water feature, every detail was infused with Vegas flair. The statement piece was twin 5-foot trophy replicas located at each end of the set.

Inside the stadium at field level, we created a broadcast stage with a dynamic desk design and mosaic floor that tied back to the Bellagio fountain set. We managed to fit this impactful stage into a small end zone area and put it on an automated platform that tracks on and off the field within just 90 seconds – just long enough for a TV time out. Making this design a true engineering feat!

Outside the stadium, we designed an abstract demo field with its own desk in order to take advantage of the evocative Raider’s Stadium and Fan Fest experience.

The result was a stunning series of broadcast experiences that captivated viewers near and far. Now that’s an overtime win!
