Put a new face to an old friend

At IBS, Weyerhaeuser sought a fresh approach to its exhibit—one that would showcase its product portfolio while honoring more than a century of leadership in growing trees and producing forest products that improve everyday life. With over 18 years of partnership and deep brand understanding, Jack Morton worked closely with Weyerhaeuser to reimagine the exhibit as a storytelling environment that highlighted the journey of its products—from forest to customer—while presenting the brand in a modern, engaging light.

Inspired by industry trends and developed through curated vision boards, the design introduced natural materials, thoughtful architecture, and cohesive finishes. A standout feature—the “Gallery of Trees”—displayed samples from Weyerhaeuser’s product lines, complemented by a hex-pattern carpet inlay symbolizing root systems beneath a dramatic “forest ceiling.” Interactive tablet stations provided access to product directories, while a private meeting space supported deeper conversations. Together, these elements created an immersive, living environment that celebrated Weyerhaeuser’s heritage while showcasing its innovation and expertise.

THE IMPACT

Everything from the tables to the reception desk and even the dimensional letters were designed and crafted to bring the quality of Weyerhaeuser products to life for the visitor – both literally and tangibly. Uniquely ownable and branded, this stunning space welcomed everyone to experience a bit of the great outdoors, indoors. Visitors could not walk away without garnering a better understanding and appreciation of Weyerhaeuser and its products.
