Sometimes art does imitate life.
To raise funds for their annual (RED) Foundation campaign – an organization that fights to end AIDS/HIV in Africa – Belvedere partnered with Brooklyn based visual artist Laolu Senbanjo, to design a limited-edition vodka bottle that speaks to the brand and the artist’s shared mission to reveal the unexpected beauty in the world.
Belvedere x Laolu botte is the first Belvedere bottle produced using high quality, full-wrap sleeve technology featuring a unique pattern – exclusively designed by Laolu — that incapsulates the beauty, nuance and complexity of Belvedere vodka. The flowing design with sharp edges represents the water and rye working together to produce dimension and taste.
To launch this amazing and iconic partnership, we hosted an interactive and breathtaking experience during New York’s Fashion Week. Hosted at the Whitney Museum, the experience featured a fashion show with models and influencers wearing custom designs painted exclusively by the artist. The guests, who lined the museum wall-to-wall, also enjoyed a Laolu art exhibit featuring painted figures and masks from some of pop culture’s most iconic characters such as Darth Vader, and the Black Panther. And they enjoyed it all while sipping on delicious Belvedere cocktails.
Art doesn’t get more beautiful than that.
