Target took over The Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District, occupying 155 rooms facing the south side. What was the occasion? To showcase their fall line in the most audacious and possibly most expensive way. Dubbed the Kaleidoscopic Fashion Spectacular the twenty minute performance included 66 dancers dancing from the notoriously transparent rooms. Meanwhile LED lights accompanied the dancers from the rooms and were perfectly synced to an original score composed by Sam Spiegel, aka Squeak E. Clean aka Spike Jonze’s brother. The event was streamed live and recorded through their Facebook page. Running just shy of an hour the performance starts 30 minutes in and can be viewable from four different angles.
