It’s an interesting fact of a global economy that some mega brands are so powerful, they can force smaller mega brands to change. Check out the article from the New York Times today that outlines Wal-Mart’s plans to revamp grocery…the idea involves making (I mean asking) suppliers to do the same. It’s a brand ecosystem forced to change by the brand at the top of the food chain.
